Are you looking for an IT mentee? Or do you want to be an IT mentor? Join MIT Women in Technology for lunch and learn about our mentoring program. The requirements to become an IT mentor or mentee. Find out the benefits of mentoring in the workplace.

All registered members will receive a lunch voucher with the Zoom information the day before the event.

Employee Welcome Wagon Info Session

Employee Resource Group (ERGs) are employee-led groups formed around common interests, common bonds, or similar backgrounds. ERG members help create a positive work environment at MIT by actively contributing to the Institute’s mission, values and efforts specific to inclusion.

You will have the opportunity to learn more about ERGs and meet the people who help them thrive at the very first in person Employee Welcome Wagon information session.

Explore what GIS (Geographic Information Systems) can offer you. Learn about GIS resources and data, and explore ways to incorporate GIS into your work. We will explore the variety of data that GIS techniques utilize, from census data and drone images to soil moisture readings.

GIS is a fascinating space in which to develop and hone your skills with Python, R, SQL, data visualiation and report, writing and communication, and project management.

Learn how to implement AI solutions using pre-trained AI services like Cognitive Services and Bot Framework, or by building your own Machine Learning models with Azure ML and Open-Source Framework like PyTorch and MLNET.

By the end of the day, you will be able to infuse AI into your applications.

 

Women of MIT Wikipedia Hackathon

Team up with the MIT Museum and the MIT Libraries to create and improve Wikipedia entries for MIT alums. No experience necessary, training will be offered that evening.
